What we experience, what we love, & what we aspire to be, all inform how we project ourselves to the rest of the world. My artwork deals with how these inflections create the cultures we know & the personalities we self-identify with today. The face provides us a glimpse into the ego; thus, I often use portraiture to convey my emotions. While art has been a constant for me to reflect on different periods of my life, it continues to prove itself as a force of expression—allowing others to understand me, as well as myself, when I am unable to move or conversate through challenges.
